Who else is ridiculously excited for some time off? I know I am, for many reasons. I get time to work and maybe get some money if I get hired to anywhere I applied to... if I don't, I get more time to spend with friends and family!

I plan to do some serious motion/pose studies in the next few weeks, since my library had some pretty kick-ass books on the subject. I also plan to upload my 2D Design and Drawing I stuff this week, as I've been meaning to do that forever.

On the writing front, it's the same as elsewhere: I need to sit down and just do it. And so I will; I've started writing character references so that my characters' personalities won't be changing all the time (which is always my problem). I'll likely post some of it up here after it's beta'd by my friends.

Basically, I've come to a conclusion about myself, which can be summed up in my resolution for next year- "no more excuses." It seems over the past year or so all I've been doing is half-assing everything, and I look back and want to punch myself for it. When I laugh, I want to laugh like hell, when I'm angry, I want to let it out instead of bottling it up, and when I work, I want to give my all.

'Do or do not, there is no try,' right? Haha.

Anyways, planning's actually going great for Vestige and Pirate Brigade, and I'm planning to do Vestige for NaNoWriMo! I think if I can get myself going, I can keep up the momentum since I really like my plan for it this time.

As for PB, who knows when that'll happen. I'm having fun slowly fleshing out the characters as I learn more about cooking and also the cultures the characters belong to. I'm building their personal histories one by one before I do any more structure for the story.
I really want this story to be driven by most of the characters, unlike Vestige, which is driven by the main character alone.

(I think what little art spirit I have is being used for drawing class... but as you can tell I'm in a writing groove~ yay!)

My foot's feeling a lot better, and I'm REALLY looking forward to being able to walk again in a few weeks. I'm also looking forward to the end of this semester, and freedom for a whole month! Hopefully I will be able to see people from the college I used to go to during this time.
